The long anticipated release of country music icon Wynonna Judd’s 7th solo album entitled Sing: Chapter One from Curb records is here!. This project is a mixture of genres from standard country to rock and roll with an addition of jazz and pop flavors; and it celebrates some of the older classics from artists such as Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette and Nat King Cole. The album starts with an upbeat toe-tapper “That’s How Rhythm Was Born” and transitions into a beautiful rendition of the old country standard, “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”. Three songs later, Wynonna also takes us for a walk down memory lane with Merle Haggard’s “Are the Good Times Really Over”; and wraps up the album with Nat King Cole’s “When I Fall in Love” as well as “Sing” (the title cut for the album).
Sing: Chapter One deserves five stars across the board. From front cover photography, music tracks, song selection, and Wynonna’s dynamic vocals, this project is destined to be one Wynonna’s best albums yet! But again, what can you expect from a woman who has had 20 number 1 hits! From the first track to the last, it will definitely make you want to sing!
