DARRYL WORLEY HEADLINES MEMORIAL BENEFIT CONCERT IN ALABAMA;
Darryl, Marty Raybon and More Donate Talents for Slain Victim’s Children

Nashville, TN -
On Friday, April 24th, The Erica Carmen Droze Memorial Benefit Concert will take place at the Boaz VFW Fairgrounds in Boaz, Alabama, with country artist Darryl Worley headlining. Also on the bill is Marty Raybon, Billy Yates, Ken Mellons, Randy Kohrs, and upcoming Nashville artist Billy Ryan, for whom the event has a very personal meaning.
Ryan, whom many Boaz locals may recognize as Billy Ryan Droze, lost his sister, Erica Carmen Droze, age 24, earlier this year to a horrific act of domestic homicide when her husband shot her to death in front of their two children and Billy, who was in his hometown visiting her. Heroically, Billy grabbed the kids, a two-year-old girl and three-year-old boy, and ran with them to safety. They are now in the care of her family. Overwhelming support from several members of the Nashville music community, especially the aforementioned artists, have lead to this event. All proceeds from the concert will go into a special fund for the two children as they were left with virtually no financial security after the funeral costs.
Tickets for the event are $15.00 and may be purchased at https://billy-droze.ticketleap.com/Erica-Carmen-Droze-Memorial-Benefit-04-24-2009-06-00, as well as at various locations in Boaz, including the WQSB radio station studios. A silent auction, for which donations are being accepted, is also planned to take place during the show. Dale’s BBQ will be set up on site. Doors will open at 4:00pm and the show will begin at 6:00pm.
