AMERICAN IDOL COMES TO NASHVILLE!

July 11, 2007 – Earlier today Music City Update spent time at the “American Idol” press conference held in Nashville, TN. “American Idol’s” top contestants of 2007, shared their thoughts on what it was like to be a part of the show, how faith played a major role each day and how their lives have changed because of the “American Idol” experience.

“I don’t know how someone does this that doesn’t have something to believe in,” said contestant, Melinda Dolittle, who is from Brentwood, TN.

American Idol” winner, Jordan Sparks informed that she loves Nashville and that she was able to spend time with Christian recording artist, Michael W. Smith and his family today.

The "American Idol Tour" took place at the Gaylord Entertainment Center on July 11, 2007, at 7:00pm.
